Professional Notepad 2.9.2

Many programmers choose to use Notepad as their primary choice for writing scripts. Notepad does not use all of the fancy formatting many word processing programs use and a .txt file can be easily placed on the web. For those programmers who prefer to use Notepad, ATech Group has created Professional Notepad 2.9.2 that offers the simplicity of the regular Notepad, but with the addition of a simple yet powerful editor to allow you to create language specific source code.

Professional Notepad installation is extremely simple. All that one needs to do is download the software executable file, agree to the terms of use and a 30 day trial is offered. Some of the features such as printing a color coded script are disabled in the trial version, but most of the features are enabled.

Professional Notepad uses the same icon as the original Notepad, which may be a bit confusing if you are trying to determine which program you want to open. The original Notepad is not modified in any way and can still be opened and used separately.

The Professional Notepad display is clean without a lot of buttons. Regular text can be easily converted to a HTML page by selecting ?Text to HTML? in the Convert Menu. The text conversion can only be done once per file, but for large text files this can save you a lot of time with creating tags. Additionally, Professional Notepad offers a wrap-able text feature to easily see all of the code without doing a lot of scrolling. This program can provide a quick and easy solution for webmasters posting articles to their website.

Some additional benefits that come with Professional Notepad are web page foregrounds and backgrounds can be easily chosen using a color palette instead of needing to have the color codes. Font tags and image locations can be inserted quickly using the Insert menu. There are shorter tab settings to allow for proper coding techniques

One very important feature that Professional Notepad has to offer is the ability to show color coded source code. Color coded source code can help with identifying where scripting errors have occurred. The source code can be displayed using HTML and most of the main source code languages available. There is also a line indicator bar that will allow going to troubled coding spots quickly.

Professional Notepad has a lot to offer a current programmer, but would not work very well for beginner coders, because there is no help menu to get you started using the program and you need to know the tags you want to use before you start. Additionally, technical support is offered only to registered users via email. If you are a current programmer who likes the simplicity of Notepad the program is recommended.
